If you driving in from Bruce Rock, Hyden, Merredin or Southern Cross, look for the blue signs to Hampton View Homestead – follow these and you’ll find us. This one to the right is the turn off from the Great Eastern Highway.

From Merredin

Start: Merredin Time: Approx 1 hour

  • Head east on the Great Eastern Highway and just out of town turn right at the big sign to Muntadgin, Narembeen and Hyden. A sign for “My Hampton View Homestead B&B Farmstay” is on the left of the road you turn on. I have these signs all the way to the farm
  • Head south on Merredin-Narembeen Rd, and pass the Merredin Air Port on the left.
  • Stay straight on. (Do not turn right at sign to Hyden).
  • You come to a T road. (South Burracoppin). There is a Telecom exchange station with a microwave relay dish on the right. Turn right.
  • Continue, then come to an old farm house on left, water tanks and Seven Oaks Stud sign. Turn left onto Dulyalbin Road.
  • You will come to a cross road, With Nulla Nulla Road crossing Dulyalbin Rd, continue on. (Do not go off the gravel until you come to crossroad of bitumen)
  • Come to next cross road Moorine Rock South Road. There is a Hampton View Homestead Sign. (Nearly there.)
  • Dulyalbin Wheat bin is on the left, turn right and now Mount Hampton School is on your left. You come to a Shire gravel pit on your right and just past that is the next cross road, Sandalwood Rock Road. Turn Left onto Sandalwood Rock Rd.
  • Continue to next cross road then, turn right onto McKenzie Road. Go past the truck entrance on the left and we are the next entrance on the left.

From Southern Cross/Moorine Rock

Start: Southern Cross  Time: Approx 1 hour

  • From Southern Cross, head west on the Great Eastern Highway (94)  for just over 22km to Moorine Rock
  • There is blue & white sign pointing to Hampton View Homestead B&B/Farmstay.
  • Turn onto Moorine Rock South Road and travel 52kms south – it is a wide bitumen road all the way.
  • Travel over the cross road of Moorine Rock South Road & Dulyalbin Road, view the Dulyalbin Wheat Bin and the unused Mount Hampton School.
  • At the Sandalwood Rock Road turn Left and then come to McKenzie Road and turn Right.
  • The farm entrance is just down on the left. Do not turn into the truck entrance, but the main entrance is a little further on, well marked!!

From Bruce Rock

Start: Bruce Rock  Time: Approx 1 hour

  • There is blue & white sign pointing to Hampton View Homestead B&B/Farmstay.
  • Travel North through Bruce Rock and come to Cramphorne Road and turn right into it.
  • Stay on this road for 90 approx kms, after the bitumen there is 34kms of gravel. The gravel is wide smooth & well maintained.
  • You have Mount Hampton Rock on the left just before you come to the bitumen cross road of Moorine Rock South Road and Cramphorne Road.
  • Turn Left onto Moorine Rock South Road for 10 kms, this is wide bitumen, then onto veer right onto MacKenzie Road for 5kms, this is wide smooth sand/gravel.
  • You will pass a shearing shed on the left and The Homestead is just past that, on the right.

From Hyden/Wave Rock

Start: Hyden  Time: Approx one hour

  • There is s blue & white sign pointing to Hampton View Homestead B&B/Farmstay.
  • From the main street of Hyden go north on Hyden Walker Road, this is bitumen.
  • Turn Right onto Soldier’s Road, Bitumen onto gravel/sand well maintained.
  • Turn left onto Gray’s Road, gravel sand, well maintained, then turn right onto Sloss Road, gravel/sand well maintained.
  • Turn left onto Moorine Rock South Road, sand/gravel, well maintained, then onto wide bitumen.
  • Veer Right onto McKenzie Road 5kms, sand/gravel, well maintained.
  • There will be a shearing shed on the Left, the Homestead is just past that on the Right.
  • Distance is just over 100kms. Approx. Bitumen 60kms approx, 42kms of sand gravel
